The expedition crew of 40 includes island artists, storytellers, film makers, playwrights, architects, designers, musicians, community leaders, social scientists, ecologists, marine biologists, oceanographers, poets, acclaimed Gaelic singers and a chef.

Andy Mackinnon is from the Taigh Chearsabhagh Trust. Taigh Chearsabhagh Museum & Arts Centre, based on the Isle of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, aims to build physical and virtual focal points for exploration, innovation, communication and collaboration, locally and internationally.
