Antoine Assal

Joins the expedition for week 1

Antoine Assal is a Swiss environmental scientist who specialises in environmental forensics and in contaminated land and water management. His current main interest is to bridge the gap between science and business by integrating languages, policies and cultures. His work includes cooperation with international organisations such as UN Environmental Programme, environmental agencies and the industry. He has been an entrepreneur with Scottish Enterprise and a research fellow in Glasgow and Belfast over the past 5 years and is now working as an environmental consultant in Northern Ireland. Antoine’s daily life is a struggle between his passion for business and science and his attraction for long bicycle touring.
