Natasha Freedman

Natasha Freedman is a producer/director with a particular interest in developing interdisciplinary arts projects. She joined Cape Farewell in January 2011 having previously developed public engagement projects around art and science for the Royal Academy of Arts and the Institute of Making. She worked with the internationally renowned theatre company Complicite for six years, directing their research and education work, developing ideas for devised productions and extending these outwards into tailored education projects.
She co-founded the charity Streetwise Opera and conceived and directed the programme of performing arts at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, bringing professional performers into the wards and public areas of the hospital to create a stimulating environment for healthcare.
