Landscape Ingress
Before I left, I took the opportunity to go for a hike along the coast from Scalloway. As I was shooting photos I came to realise that I was looking at a landscape that in the main was untouched by human hands over a millennia. However every frame I shot, I noticed that each one had some element of human incursion in them. Some photos included present day structures such as houses, bridges, or fish farming activities, others had ancient walls and rock piles. It is a beautiful area and at this level of zoom most of the structures did not distract from the epic beauty of the landscape, in many cases adding to it. However man’s intrusion at a more upclose and personal scale was fairly saddening to see which you can see on my other post by clicking here.
