Hello Amy (Oh and mustn’t forget Jefferina),

    Hope everything is going well.

Things are good at school. So far we have done two assemblies one for KS3 and one for KS4. Today we put up some posters with ‘BIG’ pictures of you on and at break we opened up a little table outside the gym where people could come and write questions they would like to ask you.

We have a lot more things to do next week!!!
We will probably take lots of photos so you can look when you get back.

We hope you will tell us what you have been up to on your next video and here are some of the questions we collected that people would like to ask you:

“Do you have to wear long johns and a thermal vest?”
    – Mr Whitaker

“Out of all the places you have visited, which has been your favourite?”
    – Steph Rawcliffe, 11JCM

“How easy is it adapting to life in the artic? Have you settled in yet?”
    – Ross Downs, 8KM

    “What’s the view like?”
    – Kyle Dickinson, 10ANK

“Have you seen any polar bears yet?”
    – Josh Hart, 9GAU
    – Callum Duncan, 8RLH
    – Damien Pugh, 8RLH

    “What is the weather like?”
    – Mr Morrissey

“Have you seen any yellow snow?”
    – Mr Kelly

“What is the atmosphere like in the Artic?”
    – Grace Warburton
“Have you seen any other living things out there?”
    – Elliott Neil, 9RBH
    – Stephen Lowe, 10EVB

“How many penguins have you seen and are they a bird or a fish?” Private Joke.
    – Mr Croniken

    We miss you lots,
    Love you always,
Nina (And the rest of Moorhead)
    x

    Hi Amy,

    Missing you loads.

Hope you are having a really good time,
I keep checking back on your blog to see what you have been up to.

Think one of us is dressing up on Monday S:

In English we have started our first piece of coursework, we have to write a story about anything (AT LEAST FOUR SIDES LONG). Miss Bhogal asked me to tell you that she wants you to write yours about your experience in the Artic so it might be a good idea to write some notes.

Don’t think you have really missed much else.

Looking forward to hearing from you on Wednesday.
Think Mr O’Brien is going to let us miss a bit of our lesson to watch you.

    Love you Lots Nina, x

P.S Hope you are looking after Jefferina x

  10. Yvonne Foster Sunday 16 Sep, 2007 // 15:47:56

    Hi Amy and Jefferina
I hope you are having a fantastic time up north. I would like to ask you what is the most amazing thing that you have seen or done so far on your expedition? Have a great time, keep warm and don’t make friends with a snowman (it’ll never last).
See you soon, take care Amy from Y. Foster.

Hallo Amy, I am Katharina’s mum, and I am really interested in your drama piece. Did you have already any ideas how to realize it before you went off to Svalbard, do you come across something that will help you with the realisation now that you are there? Do you have already details concerning the plot and where do you want to perform it?
I wish you good luck and a nice time to everybody
    Beatrix
