Hi Nonie,
very interesting to hear what you’ve got to say – particularly, I thought, about the breaking away of the glacier (which you mentioned in the last video, too). Here’s a question, if you get another opportunity to answer: what continuing impact will your work up there have when you get home? How will you communicate your thoughts to the rest of the school, and further afield?

Nonie, your video is so great. it is so so lovely to hear your voice. it sounds amazing and you look so professional, pointing at artic glaciers. hearing a glacier crash sounds awesome and i lurve all your words. it looks like your having a rave in a cave and i am so happy for you but i literally cannot wait for you to come back. i am so so proud of you. the video is taking an age to load so i havent really been able to watch the whole thing but i am sure it is spectaluar. i miss you and i love you. love fatty xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Is there a noticeable difference in the appearence or sound of the snow and ice as the temperature changes?

Bien, Nonie, muy interesante. Es evidente que el glaciar se derrite rápidamente – la nieve y el hielo igualmente. Hay icebergs allí también? Tu clase de espanol espera con mucha ilusión una presentación ‘en directo’ después de tu regreso a Canford. Sabes que en Antárctica se habla mucho espanol? – hay bases científicas chilenas y argentinas allí. En Svalbard probablemente no oyes tanto espanol….

Hello Nonie …. great to see you are making the most of your amazing trip. Hope that you are getting the facts and the images as well. Question …. what evidence is there to show why there is decreasing thickness of the glaciers. Is it down to air temperature, water temp or are the two of them closely linked? Look forward to seeing your daily log soon.
